Right glue for reparing a broken motor axel?

Post Body

I'm trying to repair the axel for my Tomy Iron Kong (1999 version)'s left arm, the peg broke off prior to buying it on Ebay. The black piece that is attached to the motor and rotates when it's switched on. Problem is I don't know the right glue to use.

I tried [Tamiya Cement] but that does not work as the plastic does not melt like that of the pieces you clip from a sprue. I tried [Revell Contacta Professional] which works for some of my smaller Zoids, but that's not strong enough to hold up under the weight of the Iron Kong's arm once assembled.

Any ideas?
