I am an advocate of constantly trying to do better but sadly most people think you need money. I spoke to one guy in UK who is doing A Levels and here is what he told me
He said he is doing business studies and he said every year for students doing business studies they come together, form teams, come up with products to make and resale, they will also compete tlwith other schools to see whose product has achieved success, in terms of sales, production or innovation, imagine if is in Zimbabwe, selling Maputi, writing your challenges etc Zig Vs US dollar, people not paying etc. And this you don't need money to implement.
He said also every students is asked what they want to do after A Levels and the schools bring in those guys in those professions eg doctors, lawyers, programmers, teachers, business people, accountants and they speak about what's required, challenges, pros and cons, salary, what they like about their jobs and what they don't like about them etc . You will then visit their respective work places to see how their days entails at work eg going to see doctors at Parirenyatwa or Bains. That can be done in Zimbabwe.
