I don’t work in a pure Zettelkasten - mine is more similar to Ryan Holiday’s notecard system. I specifically work in projects, meaning that if I’m writing a paper for class, I have a box dedicated purely to that assignment. This has worked great in helping me keep focused and organized, but it does come with limits - I like to read for my own pleasure, mostly nonfiction, and come across a lot of ideas and passages that I find interesting but are unrelated to a current project. I’ll highlight these or make a quick note of them, but nothing beyond that. I’ve thought about starting a small database in Notion tracking non-project readings and tag them for what they might be useful for in the future, but I figure I’d ask for your ideas as well
Any suggestions are appreciated
