Making My Own Products from Bases.

Post Body
So I found a site where you can buy bases for soap making and whatnot, and I would like to "make" my own liquid shampoo, conditioner, and lotion with the add-ins of my choosing. But there aren't really any guides on how much stuff to add. I was thinking maybe Activated Charcoal, Jojoba oil and or flaxseed gel go to the hair products.
Does anyone have thoughts or experience with such things?
