One of my goals for 2023 was to buy no NEW clothes. I have purchased some clothes this year but they were all secondhand.
Everything in this drawer is either a secondhand purchase or a hand-me-down from sisters or friends!
I am so grateful for my eclectic style and amazing resellers.
Poshmark is also an AMAZING resource for more mainstream clothing.
Fast Fashion and Micro seasons are destroying our planet and overwhelming even the thrift stores. Jo from Clutter Porch has been an amazing activist in showing how our decisions impact other countries in such a negative way.
Committing to mending and repurposing items I am no longer using has been such a fun project! Seeing what I can create from different pieces is wonderful.
It’s journey but it’s worth it!
