Paperless towels! They are way nicer than regular paper towels, more absorbent, fun patterns and double as cloth napkins! We have winter and summer patterns too.
I generally don’t use parchment anymore when I bake but I like it for cookies. This kind is unbleached and compostable.
Mesh produce bags - we’ve got SO many sizes and they are much tougher than the plastic ones.
Beeswax Wraps! Best way of covering goods or using as a baggie. This one is my charcuterie board cover AND I made it myself!🐝
Reusable Parchment. It comes in a roll and can be cut to fit. I have perfectly sized ones for all my pans.
Silicone Baggies. I’ve got multiple sizes from snack to freezer. This company is Canadian and cheaper than stasher.
A hemp bread bag to store homemade sourdough. 🤤
Anything and everything is stored in jars doesn’t matter if it’s fancy or repurposed. If it can be purchased at an refillery, I’ll buy it there.
I keep so many food items for alternate uses. These egg shells will be used as seed pods! I also keep veggie scraps for broth or to regrow them. Plus the chickens next door love a good treat! 🐓
I also make as much as I can from scratch; lately almond milk has been a favourite because not only do we get the liquid, the remains can be used as flour for baking! Two birds stoned at once or something like that.
