I recently traded an old snare drum for a brand new cast iron skillet, and I was wondering where I can get old rags to clean it and other things with instead of using paper towels? I've only someone recently moved out on my own and don't yet have any rags or towels that I would consider using for cleaning instead of bathing. I'm not usually worried about using paper towels, but my consumption of them has gone up a lot from wiping out the cast iron almost daily.
Furthermore, how sustainable is dish soap? I already make my own soap for bathing, but I know lye soap like that is bad for cast iron.
