Preface I feel I've been incredibly lucky, I've never tested positive for covid ever. Never had the symptoms we were told. I also take it seriously as I still wear masks everywhere I go if I'm indoors or on transport and use hand sanitizer everywhere. Which draws looks and criticism as I'm sure you're all aware of
To present, I go to the gym at night to avoid as many people as possible usually 12-3am but this obviously takes away from sleep. So a few weeks ago back at the end of June I thought I'd brave it and change to early mornings. So I went at 7am obviously this was far busier than I would have liked and was getting stared at a lot with wearing my mask but it went ok trying to stay as far away as possible from people in corners of the gym
The next day I was incredibly ill, in pain head to toe with a fever and barely had the energy to look after myself and no appetite. I put it down to pushing too hard at the gym in the hot weather maybe. The whole time thinking this is it I've caught the virus and I'm going to die but the fever broke after 36hrs and I never had any breathing problems or cough. I took two weeks off the gym and took multiple tests all came back negative
But recently since the 22nd of July my energy levels have halved along with my appetite I can barely eat more than a few mouth fulls of food before feeling stuffed and I'm a large guy with a big appetite typically but all the tests I take are negative and don't have have the typically symptoms listed about the virus. So I do have long covid?
