Awful speaker sound quality

EDIT: FIXED BY UPDATING "Asus Framework Service" in Armory Crate. Updated to version 2.1.1.1. Sound is now at the quality I expect from Asus.

Just got my laptop and the speaker quality is such a disappointment. It sounds like Asus put the cheapest possible speaker in this laptop. I've had Asus laptops in the past and they've all had excellent audio. I haven't tested headphones yet, but I'm sure that's fine.

From what I've read on this subreddit, it seems to be a hardware issue, correct? I tried changing the Dolby settings and updated all my drivers but neither helped. I guess I'll just live with the abysmal sound quality as overall the laptop is still great.
