Hi I just got the new 2021 model and I am very glad of my purchase, the laptop can really run almost everything smoothly. I have this problem earlier where my laptop is connected on an external monitor and suddenly the keyboard lights and screen of the laptop turned off. Lights for charger indication is still on and the external monitor became the main display. I looked in the display settings and the laptop screen is not detected.

I tried turning off the laptop and the same thing happened, no screen and no lights but it did boot. I tried to turn off the laptop and I cant seem to turn it on I waited for the "woosh" on the ROG logo and I did not hear it.

I unplugged everything and plugged in only the charger and it finally booted. Im just worried that its something I did as I just got this a few days ago. Is this a common problem that I could tweak to resolve? Maybe it could be connected to the type c to hdmi cord that I just got, I am not very familiar with pc tech so help would be really helpful for anyone who's familiar with these problems.

Update: It seems that it is connected to the type c cable based on several posts Ive found on the r/ZephyrusG14 subreddit. I also cant open the amd radeon software.
