My original title was "2022 G14 Dolby Vision false advertising" but I decided to change it before posting. I still do think that it is false advertising though. Yes, I understand that you can use Dolby Vision for streaming video, but that's it, and there was no clear indication of this on any of ASUS' marketing.
Is HDR in windows going to be implemented ever on this laptop? I'd like to use HDR in games just to get a bit more dynamic range. I know it's not an OLED so there's only so much that can be done, but if there's a benefit to using Dolby Vision in Netflix on this laptop, surely there's a benefit in gaming as well, right?
Is it just that Windows doesn't have specifically Dolby Vision HDR support system-wide as of yet? I've heard of other systems that have this figured out though....
Btw, I'm loving this system, the DV thing is just a stain on what has been a mostly fantastic experience thus far with this machine.
