Like the title suggests, my g14 doesn’t turn on when unplugged. But interestingly when i plug the power cord in and turn it on and then disconnect the power cord, it doesn’t turn off????

I thought maybe the battery died or something but as of now I’ve done the holding the power button for a full minute thing, reset windows but nothing seems to work so far.

Also the battery management icon on windows says it’s a 100% charge in the settings menu but doesn’t show any stats when hovering on it in the windows tray???

The only sus thing that happened before this i dropped my phone from like 6 inches on my laptop, it froze and then i had to hard reboot the thing. Was working on an assignment and didn’t really notice after i tried turning it on after a few hours….

EDIT: Perhaps I haven’t explained it well enough. But basically now my g14 doesn’t recognise the battery and powers on only when it’s plugged in. Regardless, Thank you everyone who has replied so far.
