Pen malfunction / should I use another

I was doing my weekly injection today and the pen malfunctioned. I pressed the button and the needle came out but the medicine was not flowing and there was no second click.
After 20 seconds I lifted the pen. The needle was out and then medicine squirted out into the air. I did have blood from the needle prick.
Iām wondering should I try to give myself a second shot. There is a chance maybe a small amount of medicine went in me but a lot did not.
