Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about how much the dating scene has changed in our culture, and I’d love to hear some thoughts. Back in the day, arranged marriages were more common, and families would help in finding compatible matches. Nowadays, I see so many people struggling to find someone serious to settle down with.
For example, I have an amazing friend who’s been searching for a while. She’s incredibly smart, beautiful, and independent, with a master’s degree and a love for travel. She’s tried dating apps, but finding someone who’s serious and genuinely interested in marriage has been tough. She’s not had much luck with love, despite being such a wonderful person.
Is anyone else noticing this trend among their friends or peers? Do arranged marriages, or at least arranged introductions, still happen? And do you think they could still work in today’s world?
And hey, if anyone knows a serious guy who’s also looking for a committed relationship and shares similar values, I’d be happy to introduce her. Let’s open this up for a conversation—what are your thoughts on arranged marriages or finding serious relationships today?
