I am very confused by everyone saying that f2p players can’t guarantee every character.

Is it that I have insane luck? Or is it that its currently too early to tell for a new player who has been around for 3 banners?

I started the game mid Zhue Yuan banner, and didn’t really know what I was doing (first gacha game), so I pulled for Zhue Yuan whenever I had enough encrypted master tapes (using 0 polychrome).

I have got every single new character (other than Ellen, of course), and have not used the weapon banner once.

I’m IK51, done all content possible including all events (bar the limited time content I wasn’t high enough level for at the time. Also haven’t completed 2 character episodes yet).

I play every day, and 90% of the time maximize my energy so I never go over the max allowance.

I have 24k polychrome left right now. Not sure if this is enough to guarantee Ceasar, but I’ll have enough by the end of the banner for sure if I get very unlucky.

For Jane, I also lost 50/50 & got her 50 pulls after that. I have stopped for Zhue Yuan & Qingyi after getting them (no idea when, didn’t even understand pity at the time).

So basically, is this just good luck so far and the hurt will be felt later? Or does the game be generous enough that even mild luck should allow you to get every character? I think I saw a post here saying 1.2 will give 18k polychrome or something like that, so while thats by no means a guarantee to hit, sure seems like its a fair bit decent enough?
