So I want to get into listening to my music through better means, but I am also a big gamer. I play a few competitive games but I have switched more towards the casual side. I listen to literally every genre of music but find I listen to rock and EDM the most. I know the HD660s won't be kick ass at EDM but that imaging performance i've heard about sounds nice. BUT do I really need it if I am not going to be super competitive anymore? Probably not.. So what I am looking for is I guess what could I get that has decent imaging so I am not completely stuck out, but is also going to deliver a kick ass "Casual" experience. I'd like to get planars because that's what I have heard has the best "response" to fast wild music. idk! Lemme know what you all think and give me dac/amp recommendations too if you think a setup would pair nicely with your headphone recommendation. Thanks!
