I've watched through the series a few times but I just picked up on some jokes the dub team added that isn't in the sub. Not talking about main character lines as those are clearly changed for a western audience, but background jokes.

A great one is when the demons are running out of the dark tournament bc the banshee shriek is killing everyone. Now that it's on Hulu it was easy to check and in the sub 2 demons are having a pretty standard anime conversation about the situation and hoping genkai gets killed.

But in the dub they make them a (possibly gay) demon couple getting into a fight as one of them is mad the other always wants to do dangerous activities on dates and should take them to the theater next time 😂.

There a number of these that I can tell were not in the original Japanese script and added in by Funimation, and they're great. Just another reason why this dub is the goat
