THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! i worked SO HARD to get it right, and I think I spent a week straight looking up other cosplayers to see how they handled the wig. Kurama is one of those characters who ARE their hair, so I knew if I worked really hard on it, I'd have something I could throw on with pretty much any clothes and be good to go. Wigs are my weakest skill when it comes to cosplay, so I'm so so so so SOOO proud of how this came out ><

I did end up wanting to do him after I finished this, and honestly I feel like I'd pull that off a little better XD One of my go-to cosplays is already a kitsune with a big long tail and giant ears--I can just recyle all the patterns to make them white and be good to go (also I can be tits out which is a lot more comfortable XD Not that I can't with Kurama, but he dresses so modestly......it's a different vibe ;;;)

so!!! with his hair, I realized after looking at a bunch of 80s hairstyles that it's just a heavily feathered mullet XD this is two wigs put together to get the extra volume, BUT--if you got a long wig, teased the hell out of it, cut it into a mullet with long feathered layers at the back (and his two long hair bits at the front), and then curled those long layers out while smoothing just the back of the head down/tying it half up/half down....I feel like it would come close to his actual hair. It's expensive, but I'm tempted to try this again with just one wig to see if my suspicions are correct

it was a happy accident!!! arda was out of stock for the color i originally wanted for these, so i went one shade darker, and MAN what a good choice it ended up being. My skin is really red to begin with, and I think the super-saturated color i was gonna go with initially would have made me look like a tomato--this has juuuuust enough depth that it doesn't do that, and i the way the light catches on it makes it look like some parts are that bright red anyway

Ahh..... I was thinking about him just going off on his own for this!! The idea of him being a bit of an envoy, wandering here and there between the different realms as he goes about his business and passes messages along.... it's a really nice thought <3<3
