What if Yusuke showed up after Gouki and Kurama faught?

Doing my annual re-watch and we get to meeting the final two (future) teammates and Yusuke comes upon them just as Gouki is winding up to certainly die against Kurama. What would have happened if he came afterwards? What would the result have been if those two came to blows anyway - would Hiei have intervened or just let Kurama slaughter big red? Would Hiei get his Vegeta fight against Yusuke right away and end the series at 6 episodes?
