Yu yu hakusho was a great watch. Well written with great characters and really interesting abilities. I'd never considered watching it until I learned it was created by Togashi (im a huge hxh fan) and I don't regret watching for a second.

My only criticisms would be:

-obviously the three kings arc was a hugely wasted one. Could've been a chimera ant esque arc with interesting politics and introduced further political commentary already established in the series.

-The animation is seriously dated in parts. For the record I love old style animation from series such as Dbz and Fist of the north star, but even then some of the fights in YYH take shortcuts, understandably due to limits of the time.

If they decided to create a HD reboot in similar style to hxh omg it would be amazing. They should also take the opportunity to flesh out and properly conclude the three kings arc as it could've been the best arc of the series. The amount of fights and characters in YYH would just shine with proper animation and care.
