I'm asking for a mini roll-call
Post Body

As has been mentioned elsewhere in this subreddit, it came to light that something had gone wrong with the prison mail system - like, they decided not to send letters out. And it seems they did not give any notification that they were withholding outgoing mail.

This has left me wondering.... a number of people have volunteered to shoot a communique to youngluck, for which I am truly grateful, and I know it has really been a blessing to him. I'm bothered, however, by the thought that some folks have sent letters, and he has written replies, but perhaps the replies were never received. I could go on about how stinky it is to screw with someone's mail, but you get the drift.

If you don't mind, I'd like to get a little count here of who has sent mail to youngluck and whether you were able to get mail back. This is not about nagging you to send a letter again, I'm just curious how effective the occasional mail blockades are in putting an end to correspondence. Obviously there isn't really anything I can do to make the mail get back through, but I'm really bothered by the idea that some people wrote and didn't get a response and may have thought they were being ignored. I can guarantee you that youngluck is very very happy to get mail and that your correspondence is a valuable day-brightener.

If anyone doesn't want to post that they sent mail and what the outcome was, feel free to message me the info. And again, this is not about whether you wrote to youngluck again - so if you only wrote once, no worries. It's about whether you got your reply.

Thanks.
