If a walmart is not considered a "Super Walmart", meaning they don't have a refrigerated section, they do not accept SNAP benefits. I know that doesn't apply to alot of people, but save yourself the embarrassment if it does apply to you, and check at customer service before filling your cart.

Edit: This happened to me yesterday, and even if the 3 employees gave me the wrong information as to why, the fact remains, not all Walmarts take SNAP benefits, ask before filling your cart.

"You should probably call your local Walmart to find out for sure if they take EBT because if they don’t sell items that are on the list above, then you will not be able to use your card there."
