Aramark Yosemite Hiring Process ??

Hi friends! About 3 weeks ago I got hired to work as a housekeeper at Yosemite! I’m very excited, my start date is supposed to be January 2nd, but I’m starting to get worried because after completing (and passing) my background check and drug test, I haven’t heard anything else or received any new hire paperwork. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is normal/to be expected? I emailed the HR email 3 times and haven’t gotten any responses. Does anyone know how the housing situation works? Do i just show up or will the paperwork come in eventually?

Also : My partner applied to work there as well and got an offer but in a a different department. However, his background check is taking a lot longer than expected since he does have a f**ony on his record (non violent). Does anyone have any similar experiences? What are the chances that he will or won’t get hired? It’s making us anxious because if we’re not able to go, we need to know before January so we can renew our lease. We’re not sure what to do. If anyone has any advice please let me know. And I hope to see some of y’all in January !!
