Post Body

Hello all, we are announcing some community rule changes

We've noticed over these last few weeks that there has been a shift in this community. What once was community who shared in excitement and anticipation for new episodes has devolved into the same toxic conversations about what people hated about the episodes or where the show is going.

This is a community for FANS, first and foremost. This is a place to ask questions, discuss theories, and share things that you are enjoying about the show.

This community is NOT a place for non-stop negativity surrounding the show. If you don't like the show, or aren't enjoying it, why are you wasting your time posting on this sub? It's toxic to behave that way.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rule changes to help facilitate a positive environment for fans:

Rule 1: "No Spoilers"

This rule has been updated and renamed to "No Spoilers in Post Titles for 5 days", to make the intent a little more clear. The changes to the rule itself include mention that spoilers may now be posted in post titles once the episode has been out for 5 days. We believe this is enough time for folks to stream the episode. Again, spoilers can (and always have been allowed) to be discussed within the text body of a post immediately after or during the episode. The post's title just needs to avoid mention of the spoiler.

Old rule text:

Do not include spoilers in titles. Indicate a post that contains spoilers by marking it with the spoiler button and flair. You can hide spoilers in comments by using the syntax without the quotation marks: >"!Spoiler!"<.

New rule text:

Do not include spoilers in titles until it has been at least 5 days since the episode aired. Indicate a post that contains spoilers by marking it with the spoiler button and flair. You can hide spoilers in comments by using the syntax without the quotation marks: >"!Spoiler!"<.

Rule 2: "Discussion Etiquette"

This rule has been updated.

Old rule text:

No arguing (constructive debating is allowed), flaming, or trolling. Frequent, low quality, and repeat threads may be removed.

New rule text:

Be positive. This is a community for fans. If you're only able to contribute what you do not like about the show, then this is not a community for you.

Frequent comments or discussions with a negative perspective may be removed. Posts such as "I hate [character]" or "[character] is awful/bad" are no longer permitted. These posts will be removed and may result in a ban.

No arguing or trolling. Constructive debating is allowed.

Rule 3: "Spam"

Old rule text:

Spam and illegal content (including illegal streams) will be removed.

New rule text:

Spam and illegal content (including illegal streams) will be removed. Frequent, low quality, and repeat threads may be removed.

Going forward

If you see threads that seem to just be bashing the show rather than having healthy conversations, feel free to report them for violating Rule 2 and the mod team will be happy to take a look.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to send us a mod mail and give feedback about these community changes.
