I have a theory that the Yellowjackets are going to (in the time they’re in the wilderness) turn Doomcoming into an annual holiday for them, it represents the times of despair, when the hunt turns from the game of the wilderness to their own. I looked into where psychedelic mushrooms grow and they grow in the Canadian Rockies region, meaning Misty could have foraged the ones we see her try to use on Ben. They could use it as their first hunt of the season as well, almost like playoff games (still holding onto some of their pre-societal concepts). And I think we may even see the girls in the modern timeline experience one after Nat’s death (an impromptu funeral of sorts?) what do you guys think?
