This is nothing major but I was thinking back yesterday to the discussion of what to with Jackie’s body and how they couldn’t bury her because the ground is frozen solid. It seems extremely likely that the pit girl scene doesn’t occur until the second winter. With that in mind doesn’t it make sense that the pit would have to dig and set up before winter meaning that the first time we see a ritual with the pit might come in the upcoming summer/fall? Just speculating and it’s not really the most significant but I think it will be interesting when they turn to the cannibal rituals especially if they start doing it during summer/fall when theoretically there should be animals to hunt for food.
