Vintage Yamaha music set
Post Body

I have a vintage Yamaha set from my parents that was bought around the 70s that included an stereo amplifier a-560, 5 cd player cd-c600, turn table p-350 and a radio station tuner.

My question is lengthy but because radio has gone digital and the radio station tuner is now useless in Australia. Is it worth buying the new Yamaha R-N600A as this has the radio built in now. The other part to this question is will the new receiver work with my vintage turntable and cd player?

I was looking to get everything serviced before I set it all back up and to get the vintage amplifier serviced will cost $400, it works but there was a burnt smell coming from it.

Iā€™m not too fussed on the radio part as Iā€™m more using this a vinyl and cd player but if I got the new one I would also sometimes listen to the radio or play songs through my phone using it.

Thanks
