I'm only like 40% of the way through but wow, this is not what I thought this book would be. I LOVED the first one so much and thought it was a standalone till like the last page.

Has anyone else read this sequel? Please tell me it gets better!

EDIT: Okay I've finished it now. I'm a diehard Harper/Grey fan but eventually gave it up. I loved his chapters. Lia Mara wasn't bad and I did enjoy her, but it felt like something was missing.

My main thing is how Rhen did a 180 and Harper was completely sidelined into a simpering arm trophy. I loved her in the first book and while I didn't love Rhen, I was prepared to accept him for her sake, and then he turns bad? What?
