I have 5 different Xiaomi security cameras I've been collecting for the past 8-10 years or so. I've never had all 5 hooked up (the newest one refuses to even function at all after working ok for a couple weeks) simultaneously, usually just one (Xiaomi Smart IP Webcam 1080P/110 degree HD Night Vision IP Webcam) on my front porch and one (DaFang 360 degree) pointed at my vehicles in the driveway. Tonight I went ahead and set up a fairly old(er) 2nd Dafang 360 that's been sitting in storage for a couple years, pointed at the other side of my yard. Later I'm going to set up a Xiaomi Mijia 1080p/130 Degree Night Vision 2 pointed at my back yard. The newest one is a 300AW and it seems to be a turd. If I can't get it going again to capture my side yard it's going in the garbage I think.

The thing I love about the setup is it all streams to my Xiaomi AX9000 router that has a 4TB hard drive connected to it. I wish the Mi Home app was a little more liberal about the way the save paths are set up, but I'm just glad I don't have to purchase Xiaomi cloud space (outside the 5GB I have for general usage).

The downside is the timestamps on the DaFang cameras are way off no matter how I change the time zones. One is exactly 12 hours off and the other is 3 and 1/2 hours off, no matter what I set the time zones to. Not a huge deal though. I chalk it up to the janky Mi Home app 😂

I've also had the local police department come by and ask me for footage 4 times in the past 3 years I've lived here, lol.
