i got myself a xiaomi mi 11 with broken display. repaired that and then found myself in another problem: battery drain in standby. this guy chugs about 2-2.4% an hour in standby.

for comparison, my other xiaomi, mi 10t, can go days in standby mode without any problem.

first i thought maybe the battery is old so i ordered a new one. i struggled to find one but managed to get one at full capacity. did that fix the problem? nope, still 2.4% an hour in standby.

i tried different miui versions. all except miui 12. miui 12.5 had less standby drain, as in it took longer till it showed 2.4% an hour.

is this xiaomi mi 11 related because of sd888 or this phone i got has some more problems? should i try miui 12 or is this display problem? or flex cable problem? motherboard problem? charging board problem? something else somewhere got loose?

i'm open to suggestions
