I know this has been posted a ton already, but I want to be a bit more specific in this thread.
Most people would recommend games with a heavy focus on story and characters, usually Jrpgs. I like a good story but I like Xenoblade more than just for it’s story.
Xenoblade and some other games like Final fantasy 12 and Dragon Age fill a very niche void. The “single player mmo experience”, abilities with cooldowns, real time tactical combat, positional based attacks, heavy focus on parties/classes, tab target, and so on.
As far as I know, these are the only three games that can really fit this description without actually playing an mmo (which I would rather not for multiple reasons). Does anyone have any games in mind that they recommend?
