Should I get xenoblade 2 or 3?

I’ve played xenoblade 1 countless times on my wii and then later on my 3ds, and I got definitive edition week 1 when it came out. I love the game to death honestly, even did a 100% run at it on the 3ds (which I never finished cus I got mad I missed a quest), yet I’ve never played 2 or 3, and actually don’t really know much about either of them. Are they even connected at all to the first? Which one is worth playing more? Just wondering, I’m interested in getting one or the other, no spoilers too plz!!
