Not that I think they are bad; I actually think they're a great way to give bonuses throughout the game. I think the values are a bit odd. Specifically Speed Jogger, Swift Swimmer, and Item Retriever have some weird final values, at least for someone who likes round numbers and patterns.
Firstly, Speed Jogger and Swift Swimmer. Why isn't each level of these two skills 15%? Having it be 14% seems to be very arbitrary.
Secondly, why do we get 0.45m per level on Item Retriever? Why not make it a half a meter and have some easy round values?
My point being, these are just field bonuses that could be seen as "cosmetic", for lack of a better term. Why give them such odd, seemingly arbitrary values? I doubt the extra 2% movement speed nor the extra half a meter of item collection would be too bad.
Quick Devil's Advocate section on that last thing. I am not familiar with programming for the Switch, so maybe this is a hardware/software limitation. The movement speed may have caused problems with loading because it now has to render stuff "30%" sooner. By the same logic the item collection could've caused weird behavior with field items popping in and being collected from so far, as well as odd behavior in the Bravery.
I'm just curious about the community's thoughts on this.
