Xbox Series X ethernet port issues on start up
Post Body

Hello I got my series x a while ago and its been awesome. The only issue I seem to be having is when I turn on my xbox, for like the first 10min I seem to lose my wired connection and then it comes back in a few seconds. This only happens when I turn it on (i have mine set on power saving and not instant on). It happens a few times then it doesnt happen for the rest of my gaming time.

It's really annoying when I boot up my xbox with the wired plugged in before its even on, hop on warzone with the boys then first game I lose connection and lag out, then repeat 3 or 4 more times for the next 10min and then it stops happening. Go to the home screen settings to see that it lost the wired connection and its trying to connect to wifi then 10 seconds later it reconnects via wired.

Anyone else experience this issue on start up?

Solutions ive tried:

Got a new cat6 cable for my google fiber (already had a cat6 but thought it mightve gone bad) - no success

Tried changing my mac address as Ive seen on another thread - no success

I thought maybe if i turn the wifi off on my xbox it wouldnt try to connect to it via wifi - no success

Only thing thats worked for me so far is, turning on my xbox before i shower and letting it lose connection a few times while im cleaning and then im good to go when I hop on.
