I have the controller that came with the Xbox series x back in August. Lately I’ve noticed when I try to type on the keyboard using the dpad it moves upwards all the way to the very top of the keyboard no matter how many times I press downward. It’s gotten worse and now I can’t even use the virtual keyboard to sign in. Earlier today I was playing Fortnite and noticed when I open the game menu it just moves up and down through the side options of the menu without me pressing anything. Could it be faulty batteries? I’m using rechargeable double A energizer batteries. I don’t think I ever take them out of the charger correctly cause they’re slightly scuffed on the ends. I’m mentioning the batteries just in case it matters.
