Is hyperkin 360 controller worth it for series x?

Planning on getting a Xbox one x soon once I sell a few things, was debating on getting a hyperkin controller since old 360 controllers don't seem to perform that well anymore after 15 years.
Curious if it's worth it or not because I've heard mixed feedback. Mainly plan on using it for emulated cod games on Xbox one x like cod4 - aw
