So for the last month and half or so, I've been having problems with connecting and staying connected to xbox live parties due to my NAT failing. Even some games wouldn't allow me to play online. So I've been delving into figuring out improving my connection and all that stuff. (Learned some, still far from an expert on it though).
Being as I couldn't communicate or even play friends at this point, I've tried everything I read could work or I could think of to work.
Tech support forums all over the internet didn't help, and things like port-forwarding, messing with the Router to Xbox IP isn't something I can do for reasons not important. Resetting my Xbox, (holding power button until it shuts off), didn't work. Moving to wired connection, no dice. Etc., etc., etc. . . nothing worked.
[Fix] I finally managed to fix it. Simple really. Decided to Reset my Xbox, (while choosing to keep my games and apps), and set it up again like it was, and well figured out the problem was simply my ISP-router doesn't support Microsofts QoS tagging. So I simply turned off both options on my Xbox for QoS tagging and now it's holding a stable connection and no issues so far.
