Xbox One will not turn on?

It has probably been asked before but my Xbox One (original - purchased when it was released back in 2013) suddenly turned off today. I have unplugged both the console and power supply for at least 30 seconds to reset both. Now when I plug in just the power supply (not yet connected to the console) I get a solid orange light. When I then plug the power supply into the console the light turns off immediately. Do I have a dead console or power supply?
