Anytime I'm playing a shooting game my sight goes directly into the air.

I have an Xbox X and for the last 3 weeks, anytime I play any sort of shooting game (battlefield,halo,cod) the site just raises straight up into the air uncontrollably.
It does this on both my controllers. The system is up to date as are the controllers and games and the batteries are full.
How do I fix this?
