I’ve been debating for a while because online everyone basically says the series x dunks on the s because of its hardware and ability to take disks. It’s supposedly a very noticeably better concil. Here’s my situation tho. I’m a relatively broke college student who doesn’t have TOO much time to even game like I used to. I just want to play Xbox again cause my Xbox one broke a year ago. But if the series x is that much better if I’m able to fork over the bread. What do u guys think? Do u think the x is worth it even in my position? Also keep in mind my Tv is old ash. Additionally would u guys recommend the 1tb version of series s or just 512 gb and possible external Hd
One thing to note with 512gb version is you can’t use 512gb, I think it’s closer to 360gb useable. I don’t think you can play S/X games from an external hard drive but sending it between the hdd and SSD is quicker than downloading.
1tb series s is £299 in Argos
1tb series x is £349 in curry’s at the moment because it’s on offer.
I know you’re not flush with cash at the moment but with a difference of £50 between the two, you would kick yourself for getting the s in my opinion.

I overthink everything it’s not limited to purchases haha. I should have waited a while longer because I still paid £450 for my series X from game and it was at least a year after release. Just realised even Microsoft are selling it for £359 at the moment so even if OP is in another country he should still be able to get it at whatever that price would be in $.
