I see it on sale for $20 regularly, so I've considered buying it for a while.
I've never played Xcom (which is what I've seen most people compare it too), but I did I beat BG3 twice, so I am at least familiar with turn-based combat.
I mostly played BG3 because of the story, and not really because of it's gameplay; but I didn't exactly hate it
Half card based, turn based attack game. Half Marvel The Sims. So inter team stories, upgrade characters passives, upgrade characters card skills, working out combination of skills in each card for best results( or just you tube recommendations)
Fun game if you know before hand what you’re getting into.
