Joystick drift?

Anybody have any issues with joystick drift with the Series S controller that comes with the system? I’m experiencing terrible drift that impacts gameplay significantly. Wondering if I just need to buy a new controller.

I’ve had both PlayStation and Xbox my entire life and my PlayStation controllers always last years longer than my Xbox controllers. I’ve had terrible luck with Xbox controllers.
