For me this is the first time I’ve actually sat there and thought.. “i actually think Microsoft over expected what this console could do and how many developers they could get to care about it”.

People saying they lied need to relax. I just think they didn’t realize releasing a console thats barely above a ps4 or Xbox one and calling it “next gen” in any way was a little bit absurd. And they for sure were playing off the fact that nobody could find a series x.let’s think about this logically.

If there was NEVER a shortage they could see coming a mile away i doubt we would have ever gotten the series s. The people saying the ps5 digital is like a series s are crazy. Its has the exact same specs as a ps5 just without a disc drive.

I think going forward splitting the versions is going to be necessary to allow devs to utilize the X to its full potential.

So since Xbox one is being dropped completely probably next year latest. we will have 2 versions. Series X and series S
