I feel like I’m in a gaming rut, and I’d like to play something simple and grindy like FF I through FF VI. I tried Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes, but I immediately dropped off because queuing 6 party member commands is excessive in my personal opinion. Thanks for any help!

Another vote for Like A Dragon. If I recall correctly there's auto battle. The game is pretty easy and you can grind a lot.

It's sequel, Infinite Wealth, is even more grindy with a full Pokemon game and half an Animal Crossing but not on Gamepass yet. This adds more QOL features like optional instant winning battles if you out level the enemies enough.
