tl;dr : Razer Kishi Game Pass = Wow (GeForce now update incoming)
Hey y'all,
I've been an Xbox fanboy pretty much my whole life. It took many years of widening and retrospection to realize that, unfortunately, the PlayStation ecosystem has better games... HOWEVER, I'm currently living in the future with my Kishi Razer V2.
I have the Xbox edition, which is a little pricey but the functionality is genuinely astounding. For one, it comes with an headphone jack, and as someone keen on being immersed via sound this is paramount. Additionally, the USB-C charging port means I can game without having to worry about draining my phones battery while the Kishi is plugged in.
The Razer Nexus app is also great, letting me open Game Pass, Steam, etc. all from one hub. The handheld itself feels great, with some texture on the grip and responsive buttons. I do need to take breaks every so often though, since my hands are a bit big for the handheld and they get strained after a while.
I'm currently waiting on the GeForce Now servers to be up and running again, at which point I will thoroughly be testing my Steam Library...
I highly recommend this if you are interested in engaging with Microsoft's vision of gaming anywhere and everywhere, as this device basically turns your mobile phone into a fully-fledged gaming device, which is awesome. There are still some slight kinks to work out, such as latency issues, although those might be more attributable to my WiFi. The handheld itself is also a tad bit too small to game for prolonged sessions, but there are other alternatives (like buying one of those little clippy things for your Xbox controllee).
