Maybe with the new band list if they actually have to be in a card, this will be a great excuse to start re-printing alternate versions of current pilots. There’s no reason we can’t have multiple Luke Skywalker’s multiple different Darth Vader’s or even multiple of some lesser known characters. Even if it’s just on the same old Ships. We don’t necessarily need to see the pilots in other ships they’re not currently in. I think Poe Dameron has set this precedent and it would be a ton of extra design space. Lastly they wouldn’t have to worry about venturing into non-canon, since they have a plethora of characters available already. And this could easily be distributed as a hot shots and aces pack.
