Played a lovely tournament in Aachen with 21 players. Didn't finish last, despite some horrendous luck in rolling: During my first match, I rolled a total of one (1) evade, my third match saw me losing a 4 hull Guri to 4 attack dice (four hits, all green blanked) in the last minute, and in my fourth match my Hound's Tooth died due to three (3) critical double damage hits.

I still enjoyed myself, and I learned three things:

Constable Zuvio with Cloaking Device, Proximity Mines and Unkar Plutt Crew is so amazingly fun he should be forbidden. Even when nothing else worked, the wonderful sight of the plucky terrifying quadjumper inside an enemy X-Wing swarm while cloaked and dropping proxy mines left and right while also beaming everything ahead of him to asteroids and range 1 of the big guns was hilarious. I'll drop him into another tourney list.

Guri with Sensors and Outmaneouver is amazing. Unless you have to cross the entire board because you just won your dogfight and all the other action is happening on the other side of the board. I regret not having A-wings. But those new 2.0 microthrusters are fantastic - I was worried they'd make playing her too difficult, but after some brainfreezes it clicked. Lovely girl. Just don't get shot at with 4 dice again, kay?

You can still score a win when all the dice gods have cursed your name. In my case, it was because of the X-Wings I gently nudged on asteroids, and the E-Wing I one-shotted by tractoring it on one of my proximity mines. That was the best thing, and *you* don't have to roll your super unlucky dice, the opponent needs to use his super lucky dice to off himself. It was the best of times.

Came in 16th despite everything, so I am not complaining and enjoying my new force and charge tokens.
