So, this might be an extremely stupid question but do brand new Crosstreks come with the "Impreza ADJ Crossbars" Part Number E361SFJ100?

I bought my 2017 5MT back in December I believe and the salesman didn't mention the box in the trunk. I for some reason believed it was the pull cover for the trunk area and just set it aside and totally forgot about it in my garage.

I got the thought to put it in this afternoon and when I was opening the box up I thought to myself it seemed a little big. To my surprise, there is a set of brand new crossbars looking up at me.

I guess I'm curious if these usually come with a new car and the previous owner just didn't install them or if I just happen to have lucked into an upgrade from a previous owner?
