Hello there! I'm new around these parts, I mostly hang out over at /r/overlanding. I recently purchased an 02 XTerra. I have a full size pickup with an RTT on it which has been great, however, if we do extended trips. I basically want to leave my truck at a "base camp" and pull my XTerra behind it and use that for driving around/trails. That being said, I don't want to pay for gas for two vehicles. I was wondering if any of you guys have towed your XTerra's with all four wheel's on the ground. I read the manual, but I would like hear from you guys.
TL;DR I want to tow my XTerra behind my truck. How good/bad of an idea is this?
