I will admit I am a layman when it comes to both finance and crypto. I dabble but Iâm not an expert, not even a professional.
I have been interested in XRP since 2013 and hold a small bag. I always saw it as market disrupter. A currency that banks and large corporations can use to send massive, frequent money transfers for pennies on the dollar and would change the worlds banking and financial institution.
Having said that, looking at the positive news surrounding ripple, the focus and the real product is the ledger. It seems like, for the most part, no one uses xrp except for testing purposes and the focus of these banks and governments partnering with ripple is to create their own digital currencies not use XRP as a production token.
I could be wrong, but if that is the case, XRP itself doesnât have that much value as a stand alone currency. And aside from good news here and there (a positive judgement against the SEC for example), and regular increases due to the market, we shouldnât expect it to⌠âmoonâ.
Would love to hear everyoneâs thoughts.
